2011 - High-end solution for the woodworking business

The high-end machine with multi-channel technology presented at this year’s LIGNA offers numerous operating modes. Two portals and decoupled working units permit parallel machining performances, independent workpiece processing and an optimization of tool changes. This construction enabled an Austrian customer to process highly complex parts and to open up new business opportunities.

2009 – Routing jobs handled by robot technology

On this year‘s international trade fair LIGNA 2009 MAKA gave proof that their robots can also handle routing jobs. In a dry demo, completed by video clips during the routing process, MAKA demonstrated the production of wooden soles for the famous wood clogs and attracted many interested visitors.

2007 - The new door machining centre

It’s a long time since the first door machining centre was built in 1963 – The technical novelties of the new door machining centre CR 27 TBZ reflect an unrivalled level of competence and experience in the field of 5-axis technology.

2006 - M ROB 60 – Routing cell with industrial robot

For the development and commercialisation of a 6-axis industrial robot in one routing unit, the two companies MAKA & KUKA have concluded a system partner contract in 2005. They hereby wanted to present the application possibilities and advantages of the developed routing cell as one “machining centre” on the market.

2006 - MK 7 – New plastics finishing centre

With the CNC machine series MK 7, MAKA have enlarged their product range of plastics finishing centres by a low-cost version mainly intended for cutting and finishing performances of plastics.

2005 - AP 70 for high-speed machining of aluminium profiles

The realisation of exceptional features like an optimum effective waste and chip management completed by precision, flexibility and ergonomics in a complex design had been the aim of this newly-developed machine concept.
